Fiji & Australia - August 2019

I arrived back from Australia in the weekend, after some fairly good performances. Earlier, I made the Semi Finals of the doubles in Fiji; and then, on the Gold Coast, I got through to the Quarter Finals in both the singles & doubles.

Both of these events were J2 - in other words, strong tournaments! My ranking is now 265, which means I've managed to improve my world ranking by nearly 600 places since the beginning of this year! Advancing in these tournaments is always sudden death, so I'm pretty happy with my progress so far.

Right now, we're raising money to get to Cape Town in September (at the moment, I'd be seeded 7th in the tournament). Funding dependent, we'll need to make a decision in early September.

Thank you again to all who continue to support me. Without that help (and of course, my mum & dad), this would just be a dream. Beyond South Africa - I'm looking again at tournaments in Vietnam & Japan. Maybe Aussie, we'll see...
